Gucci Decor Opens Dedicated Pop-Up in Milan!

If you are a true blue Gucci obsessed fan, perhaps it’s time to up your brand obsession’s ante: The venerated Italian maison has dedicated a two-storey temporary store in Milan for its furniture and home decoration collection!

Call it a temple of Gucci Décor indulgence or a Disneyland for Gucci lovers, the temporary store is held in conjunction with the 2019 edition of the internationally renowned Salone del Mobile – an annual gathering of cutting edge product showcases by leading names within the architecture and interior design world.

Located at 19, Via Spirito Santo, the two-floor temporary Gucci Décor store certainly welcomes everyone with open arms and in “good spirit” — as the street name literally means!

Inside, the store is luxuriously splashed with Gucci patterned wallpapers and hanging blankets, resembling tapestries that are also on sale.

On display are both new releases as well as established home decoration products such as bestselling ceramic mugs emblazoned with messages and graphics, porcelain vases, furniture pieces and more.

Moreover, the beauty of the classic store architecture is amped up with decorated panelled doors, coffered ceiling over the first floor and a marble fireplace to mimic bona fide atmosphere of a grandiose maison.

As a brand that synchronises with advanced technology movement, and to coincide with Salone del Mobile 2019 edition, the Gucci App for iPhone users has been enhanced with a feature that allows iPhone or any Apple gadget users to discover evocative historical places in Milan.

A Gucci Décor product will appear on the screen as a virtual oversized sculpture alongside the information on the piece and the place. 16 locations are featured on an underground style map printed on a leaflet that is available at Gucci stores in Milan, as well as in Piazza del Duomo, Biblioteca Pinacoteca, Academia Ambrosiana and Piazza Affari.

Street guide aside, the apps’ augmented reality technology also allows customers to see which Gucci Décor item is suitable in their own spaces.

Users can select from a range of featured items in the Gucci Décor section of the application and have them virtually place the products into their own personal environment in real time. They also can save and share the images on social media platforms.
