Puma Launches Tsugi Jun Cubism

In a world where time paces like light, to stay afloat, one needs a synergy to remain existent and relevant with the trends and time.

Akin to the nature of the ferocious black cat that has been the totem animal of the brand – agile and fast-moving – Puma, a renowned sportswear and athletic products purveyor has been moving in sync with the transition of time.

This is by progressively infusing modernity, technology and tradition, hence resulting a new wave of aesthetics to sport-inspired streetwear.

This autumn, fans of sporty street footwear will be thrilled to know that the second generation of its renowned Tsugi silhouette is coming to stores near them. A tidal wave brought by the brand to the global market where it continues to push the boundaries of design, Tsugi features a unique lacing concept with a sock construction for a more comfortable fit. Besides its functionality, Tsugi also boasts a minimal yet unique contemporary style that stands out beautifully.

Utilising a full evoKNIT sock upper to bring forth next level of comfort, the new sequel of Tsugi, also known as Tsugi Jun, employs engineered ribs for enhanced flexibility.

An engineered elastic ensures a secure heel lock down and the addition of premium leather panels on the sides provide midfoot support whilst enhancing stability. Further empowering its unique appeal is the signature side lacing system and the ribbed tooling that are kept intact.

Being the forerunner to the all-new Tsugi generation, Puma takes the juxtaposition of the space odyssey with the pop culture as the inspiration for the newly released Tsugi Jun.

Mingling futuristic design with heavy embossing and colour blocking techniques, the new Tsugi Jun, imparts a hint of streetwear attitude and hustler mentality to the sports footwear.

To create further hype, Canadian singer/songwriter The Weeknd has been roped in by Puma to star in the Tsugi Jun advertising campaign. Posing against a futuristic milieu, the new Tsugi Jun lends a dose of casual confidence to the Starboy singer’s casual style.

Puma’s Tsugi Jun Cubism is available now at Puma.com and in select sneaker retailers worldwide and will be followed by a wider release on 17 November, 2017.
