But before we delve further, rest assured many would ask, What sparked the idea behind the creation of this innovative device?

The reason lies behind the importance of the first of the iconic 3-step skincare regimen – cleanse. Skin is better prepared to repair itself when it is cleansed of dirt, oil and pollution. More efficient cleaning can be achieved at areas that are prone to excessive oil production and pore clogging such as the T-Zone with angled brush tip with shorter bristles. 

Designed to mimic the intuitive motion of the hand, the pale green angled-tip consists of shorter and firmer bristles, while the softer and less firmer white bristles are designed to target more delicate areas of the face where less oil glands are present such as cheeks.

Prior to the advent of Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush, cleansing areas that are prone to excess oil production such as the T-zone is always a haste. 

This is due to the fact that our fingers are not able to reach the depths and contours, hence causing dirts, oil and impurities to build up time after time. Moreover, even though I have swept Clinique for Men Exfoliation Tonic thoroughly over my skin, I still could feel the remnants of dead skin cells on my skin.

But thanks to the advent of the innovative cleansing device, cleaning the hardest part of our facial feature is no longer a nightmare. I can see less shine on my T-zone as the brush has cleared the excess oil and unclog the pores. But the real test to determine its effectiveness starts at the third step of the 3-step, which is moisturising.

While it is always important not to skip the second step (exfoliating) as exfoliation helps the skin to absorb moisture even better, I have decided to skip it and proceed with applying the Clinique Men Watery Moisture Lotion and Oil-Control Mattifying Moisturiser onto my skin and see how fast the absorption rate is. 

In between, I also applied the Clinique Smart Custom Repair Serum. To my surprise, the moisturisers and the serum absorbed very well and fast into the skin – faster than when I apply the Clinique for Men Exfoliation Tonic!

Of course, my skin becomes more radiant and the dry lines were rather invisible, only to be seen under high definition lighting. 

Yet, on an overall, the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush has successfully delivered its promise and lived on its potential as the new skin changer.
