Chronicling the journeys of Public Relations guru Wei Hsiang, designer Celest Thoi, Royal Selangor’s Yong Yoon Li, Westsar Group of Companies Muhaini Mahmud, Big Group’s Benjamin Yong and wife, Bowerhaus proprietor Elizabeth Lee, the campaign showcases each individual needs and demands through their favourite pieces from the brand’s range.
Yong further added: "And it is no different in Kuala Lumpur, as we celebrate the sojourns of 6 jet-setters from Malaysia tonight, who are the embodiment of the fervent RIMOWA traveller.”
A series of RIMOWA suitcases, each portraying the 7 animals, was unveiled during the evening. From the ferocious tiger, resilient elephant, sleek albino and Burmese python, to the inquisitive raccoon, aggressive rhinoceros beetle and alligator snapping turtle, every distinctive characteristic of each animal was carefully captured to a high level of detail to complement the stunning photography on display.
During the cocktail reception, guests were welcomed to peruse, experience and acquire their favourite pieces from various Rimowa collections.
A stunning runway show was also held during the event, where new season colours from the Salsa, Salsa Air, Salsa Deluxe and Limbo collections, as well as the launch of the Topas Sports luggage were presented.
