Prada Introduces Made To Order Services In Conjunction with Pradasphere

What makes a man an immaculate style icon? 

Is it due to the number of bespoke suits he own or is it because he's always at the forefront when it comes to adapting the come-and-go fashion trends as part of his personal style?

If you asked me, I would say that an immaculate male style icon is a man whose style does not change too abruptly or non-chameleonic. 

If we looked inside his wardrobe, besides the ket pieces of the season, what you will find is a selection of signature pieces, be it clothes or shoes or even accessories, that truly reflects the DNA of the designer or maison that created it. 

And if you were lucky enough, you may see some upcoming season pieces that are yet to reach the stores. Case in point: The handmade knitwear pieces for men from Prada's Made to Order service.

Exclusively available to the Alexandra House store, the service allows customers to order the spring/summer 2015 knits from the menswear runway show in plethora of styles and colours. 

Minimal yet stylish, the knits do not only keep you warm, especially at the start of the spring. Replete in neutral, earthy tones, the graphic approach, in fact, injects a sense of boldness without the unnecessary ostentatiousness into that masculine style.

With fluid silhouette that runs around the natural men physique, the lightweight knit pieces are certainly what you need to look effortlessly cool.

There are eight styles one can choose from and given the fact that it is made order, perhaps one can expect a little leeway in adding some personal touch to the pieces.

Meticulously crafted from its hallmarked Saffiano leather by skilled artisans, the suitcases are lined with colourful geometrical graphic prints, known as the Holiday & Brown motifs. 

Available in six different colour combination, only one will be made for each variation. If suitcase seemed to heavy for you, perhaps the special edition travel leather briefcase would be the right accessory for you.

A must-have carrier that will inject a bit of fun while travelling, the briefcase is available in three original colour combinations – black + emerald green, black + granato and black + baltico . 

Furthermore, a dedicated tag bearing “Special Edition Pradasphere” message attached to it. And just like the suitcase, the leather travel briefcases are crafted from Saffiano leathers, too.

To complement the bags, do get your hands on the Saffiano travel leather bags in two different styles – emerald green defined by three logos with three subjects – ship, porter and car and in blue, light blue and brown, charaterised by ship, trunk, car and van front logos. All styles bear a handle on the back, a detachable leather wrist strap, as well as a numbered limited edition tag.

The Made-To-Order services are available at Prada stores at Alexandra House and/or Canton Road from 19 November to 5 December 2014.
