Altuzzara and Target Collaboration Debuts This Fall!

Many moons ago, spotting socialites – or celebrities - dressed head to toe in designer clothes, accessories and jewels perusing the fashion racks at Target was as rare as spotting extinct species in the dense jungle.

Today, such occurrences have become something common and no longer deserve a column space in the supermarket tabloids.   

Thanks to Target’s fashionable initiative in roping designers des jours to create a capsule collection has elevated Target’s position to a new height in the eyes of the affluent fashionistas. 

Furthermore, it also has fulfilled the wishes of people who could not afford to own designer pieces due to the oftentimes hefty price tag.

After another successful collaboration with Prabal Gurung, Target is proud to announce another fashionable partnership with Joseph Altuzzara of the renowned New York-based fashion label Altuzzara. 

Juxtaposing French elegance and American eases, Altuzzara appeals to refined and independent women with celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Bosworth, Cameron Diaz, Michelle Dockery and Cate Blanchett, among others are known to be the label’s avid followers.

It has the ability to not only change how you look, but also how you feel,” said Joseph Altuzarra, the brand’s designer and creative director. “I’ve admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion. Empowering women everywhere to discover the transformative power of fashion at affordable prices, the Altuzzara for Target collection features a mix of iconic Altuzarra silhouettes with designs created specifically for Target. 

It includes nearly 50 items, ranging in price from $17.99 to $89.99 for apparel and lingerie, and $29.99 to $79.99 for shoes and accessories.

Apart from Target stores in United States and Canada, as well as its online store Target.com, the Altuzzara for Target collection will be made available to global fashionsitas via Net-A-Porter.com. The collection is scheduled to debut on September 14, 2014.
