Trend-Plate: Have a Runway-Inspired Hari Raya!

In two weeks time, Muslims all over the world will be celebrating Eid or Hari Raya Aidilfitri as it is known in Malaysia and Singapore.

A joyous celebration after a month of abstinence from food, drinks, and other material things, it has been an age-old custom for revelers to dress in their best clothes on the auspicious day itself, apart from seeking forgiveness from family and friends.

While Baju Kurung and Kebaya, or Arabian-styled robes may be the clothes of choice for most women to don on the morning of Aidilfitri, why don't you add a bit of runway twist on your Aidilfitri look.

Perhaps, giving those traditional fares a run off their money with long-sleeved maxi dresses. Or for those who dare, emulate the beauty of Baju Kurung Kedah by pairing a long-sleeved top with a long and slim column skirt.

Need ideas, look no further with these gorgeous ready-to-wear designer pieces and to-die-for accessories and shoes.
