Set in between
the land of perpetual fantasy and modern-day reality, Once Upon A Time revolves
around the story of true love, hatred, treachery and secrets — all unwrapped one
step at a time.
And what is a hit TV series without the presence
of a resident bitch? Well, let’s get to know Regina Mills, also known as the
Evil Queen. Played by actress Lana Parrilla, Regina or the Queen, as what she is known
back in the fairy tale land, is what Alexis Carrington used to be in Dynasty. She’s
cold-blooded, heartless and manipulative.
Thanks to her curse, the entire fairy tale
land suddenly disappeared and caused all the fairy tales characters to forget
who they really are.
Even better, the enchanted land is now known as
Storybrooke, a fictional small town somewhere within the coast of Maine, with the Queen takes the helm of the
town’s mayor under the guise of Regina Mills.
Even though she may ostensibly forgotten
about her past identity, those polished red apples — the poisonous apples that
Snow White bit and swallowed prior to her ‘death’ — that she used as her living room
centrepiece is enough for the viewers to identify her true self.
Albeit being hated for denying the
characters from being happily ever after, her sense of style — a chic mixture
of vampish ageless couture and sharp, contemporary pieces fit for a
cosmopolitan woman — is certainly unparalleled and well-loved by fashionistas.
Thus
said ladies, why don’t you bring out the inner evil queen or Regina Mills in
you with these fabulous finds of the season.
