A sophisticated and bold evolution of signature Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum, Eau de Velours (French for “Velvet Water”) enunciates the vision of the venerated Italian maison’s Creative Director, Tomas Maier. 

Concocted by renowned perfumers Michel Almairac and Mylène Alran, Eau de Velours pays homage to Bottega Veneta’s origin in Vicenza, in the north east of Italy. Among others, the iconic fragrance also highlights the quintessential Italian moment that takes place in a classic Italian villa.

The sophisticated floral leather chypre nuance is the focal point of the fragrance and centred on the petals of a velvety rose. Uncap the flacon and you will be mesmerised by the bursting freshness of bergamot and pink peppercorns. Next, delve deep into its heart and the intoxicating notes of the rose absolute will give you the unexpected intense sensorial touch. Ending the iconic olfactory aria is the strong base of leather and patchouli.

For a brand that is globally known for its profound leather crafting savvy, heritage and the use of materials with the highest of quality, Eau de Velours is filled within a burgundy hued flacon with the maison’s emblematic intreciatto motif at its base. 

A velvet ribbon is wrapped around the neck of the flacon in place of the iconic leather cord and boxed in a degradé-shade box that goes from plum to deep wine – an evocation of the dark rose petals’ sumptuous tones, subsequently serves as a striking background to the elegant golden lettering.

Bottega Veneta’s Eau de Velours EDP is available in three sizes ― 30ml (RM286), 50ml (RM438) and 75ml (RM528) ― and sold at all Bottega Veneta fragrance counters and Bottega Veneta stores worldwide.
