“To be an angel is a big deal,” says supermodel and Victoria's Secret angel Lily Aldridge who walked in one during the 2015 show. “[And] to get the Fantasy Bra is crazy.”

For the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra, Victoria’s Secret and renowned jeweller to the stars Mouawad worked hand-in-hand to create it. Taking 350 man hours to create, the Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Demi bra is handset with diamonds, yellow sapphires and blue topaz in 18 karat gold. Weighing more than 600 carats, the bra is also embellished with nearly 6,000 precious gemstones. With all the meticulous craftsmanship, continuous hours and the amount of precious stones adorning it, the price is certainly justifiable.

This year, the honour goes to Brazilian supermodel Lais Ribeiro. Standing at 6’1”, the graceful 27-year old Brazilian beauty from Piauei is set to blaze the stage on fire with her dazzling caramel skin - a beautiful setting for the sparkling Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra. 

Furthermore, having the privilege of wearing the Fantasy Bra on the upcoming Victoria’s Secret show in Shanghai is a stepping stone for her modelling career.

“I think wearing the Fantasy Bra means it’s going to put your name on the map like everybody’s going to know you,” Lais comments on the “golden opportunity”. “Because how many years Victoria’s Secret has been doing the show and it’s just one person per year and all of them are supermodels like Alessandra [and] Gisele. It’s amazing. It changes your career completely. Everybody’s going to know you and it means that my hard work is paying off.”

Inspired by the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra, the collection comprises demi, push-up and bustier. Sensuous Chantilly lace and luxurious satin are the key materials for must-have seductive pieces such as the Dream Angels Wicked Bra and thong panty as well as a silky satin slip. 

The pieces are also doused in glittery tinge of champagne gold to bring forth the spirit of lush yet sexy holiday season.

Lingerie aside, fans of Victoria’s Secret fragrances can look forward to the release of the limited edition Bombshell Nights collection.  

A sparkling concoction of Cassis, Purple Dahlia and Golden Woods, the fragrance is laden with golden glitters and complements the entire must-have lingerie collection. Cassis, which makes the top layer of the fragrance imparts fresh and fruity hint while Purple Dahlia provides the “heartbeat” of the scent. 

To complete the heart and soul of the fragrance is the golden woody tones at the bottom that harmonises the composition of this sensual scent concoction.

The Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra will be presented on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Runway in Shanghai on November 28 in Shanghai while the Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels collection and Bombshell Nights limited edition collection are available now at all Victoria’s Secret and Victoria’s Secret Beauty & Accessories stores worldwide.
