Hello Diorlia!
Autumn days
are here again. While the Central Park squirrels are busy stocking acorns for winter,
it is time for you to stock your provisions as well (read: ready-to-wear and
accessories)!
While one tend to think, “Oh, it’s autumn – or fall if you’re in North America – and I don’t think sunglasses are necessary!”
While one tend to think, “Oh, it’s autumn – or fall if you’re in North America – and I don’t think sunglasses are necessary!”
That is
what you think but lo and behold, read this legitimate finding: According to
Vision Matters UK, autumn’s low sun actually poses increased risk to the eyes.
Reason being, as the sun crosses the celestial equator on the autumn equinox,
the highest point on its trajectory is reduced to just 40°.
Furthermore, cumulative UV exposure too has been found to promote the
onset of cataracts and has been implicated in other eye conditions including photokeratitis,
pterygium and macular degeneration – the leading cause of blindness in UK.
Well, the
explanation above may be mouthful but think of getting a pair of new sunglasses
as a two-in-one sort of investment – it elevates your style status from maven
to a doyenne whilst subsequently protecting the wellbeing of your eyes.
So, what’s hot on the shelves? What should you
put on as you drive towards the sunset in your classic convertibles? The answer
is Diorlia!
A new
creation by Dior, Diorlia sunglasses have all the ‘it’ factors an ‘it’
sunglasses should have: Contemporary pilot style, strong and unmistakable
volumes and edgy. Its fluid lines appeal to all genders while the oversize
style pays homage to the groovy 70s. Amplifying the cool side of Diorlia is the
subtle shades of transparent brown, green and grey, dégradé nonetheless. What
goes best with this cool, super-groovy Diorlia shades?
A good
question indeed. While Diorlia certainly complements Dior Fall/Winter 2017/18
collection churned by Maria Grazia Chiuri, another best way to pair your
Diorlia is, dig deep inside your depthless closet and look for that past season
Dior Gaucho bag in camouflage green, a pea coat in olive green (mildews enhanced
that grunge rock look but omit the idea if you’re a clean freak), or maybe a
high rolled neck knitted sweater with cargo pants (cue singer Pink in “There
You Go” music video circa 2000).
Diorlia
sunglasses are available now at all Dior boutiques and authorised Dior sunglasses resellers worldwide.
