Ralph Lauren Celebrates 10th Anniversary As Outfitters for Wimbledon Championships with Vogue UK

You know it is officially summer in London when the chic fashionistas and the who’s who of the city’s crème de la crème gathered at the Orangery of the Kensington Palace for a summer cocktail party. 

Hosted by Alexandra Shulman of Vogue UK and legendary tennis player Boris Becker, the cocktail was organised by revered American fashion and lifestyle purveyor Ralph Lauren. 

The exclusive event was held to celebrate the 10th year of Ralph Lauren as the official outfitter of the championships, Wimbledon. 

In the lushly manicured garden bathed with the rays of evening sun, guests turned up in their nines while enjoying British-inspired canapés, Pimms and champagne. 

Notable celebrities such as award-winning actress Jessica Chastain, British actor Jeremy Irvine, Spanish actress Astrid Muñoz, renowned shoe and accessories designer Charlotte Dellal, socialites Lady Kitty Spencer and Lily Becker were among the guests who were spotted at the event, all immaculately dressed in Ralph Lauren creations. 

For instance, Jessica Chastain took the breath away with a black silk crepe dress with inverted white pleats from the Ralph Lauren collection while co-host Princess Marie Chantal of Greece wore black silk Dupion dress from Ralph Lauren Black Label, a fuchsia Nappa leather envelope clutch and tan leather Jenica sandals from the Ralph Lauren collection. 

Dashing up-and-coming Jeremy Irvine whose acting portfolio includes horror flick The Woman in Black: Angel of Death was all suited up in grey check double breasted peak lapel suit, white cotton shirt, charcoal printed tie and cotton socks, all from Ralph Lauren Black Label and a pair of charcoal suede leather loafer from Ralph Lauren. 

As for the hosts, the Vogue UK’s Editor-in-Chief appeared in a navy silk Rylie dress and a navy cashmere cardigan from the Ralph Lauren collection while tennis legend Boris Becker looked perfectly dapper in royal blue suit from Ralph Lauren Purple Label. 

Though the evening sun remained up high in the sky, the party went on with live entertainment courtesy of DJ Chelsea Leyland.
