A Starry Montblanc Soiree at Madison Avenue
New York’s Madison Avenue welcomes Montblanc as the new addition to its retinue of designer label stores.
Known for its heritage that spans more than 100 years as well as its commitment to the highest standards of European craftsmanship, the Madison Avenue boutique carries the very latest collections of Montblanc products ranging from timepieces, writing instruments, fine jewellery for him and her, as well as artisanal leather goods.
The store’s exterior features expansive floor to ceiling window display while the iconic Montblanc star welcomes both customers and travellers alike into the store with beautiful Swarovski curved glass floating chandelier.
Also included within this 3,200 square foot of Montblanc heaven is a private room for clients to view the latest collections. The interior of the store reflected Montblancʼs heritage- the celebration of the written word.
There
is a wall dedicated to the largest collection of limited edition writing
instruments in North America where enthusiastic connoisseurs had the opportunity
to see unique pieces ranging from the annual Writers Edition to Patron of Arts
and the exceptionally rare pieces that are the specialty of the Artisan
Atelier.
Additionally, the cultivation of writing was further reinforced by two large writing desks – two retreats that stood ready to welcome the world’s literati.

“Montblanc has
proudly been a part of the New York City community since 2003,” said
Jan-Patrick Schmitz, Montblanc North America President and CEO. “As a global
leader in exquisite writing instruments and men’s accessories, we are eager to
welcome our New York city family and travelers alike to our new home.”
The new location also displayed the Heritage
Collection writing instrument, which honoured Montblancʼs more than 100
years of continued leadership, highlighting its technical innovation and
celebrated the pioneering spirit of the early 20th century.
To celebrate the opening of its Madison
Avenue store – an iconic location that perfectly fit an iconic luxury brand
like Montblanc – a soiree was held and co-hosted by actor Josh Lucas.
Present
at the event was Montblanc Chief Executive Officer Jerome Lambert and Montblanc
North America President and CEO Jan-Patrick Schmitz, as well as renowned
celebrities such as actress Olivia Munn, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl,
model Karlie Kloss, Anthony Mackie and Topaz Page-Green.
Olivia Munn looked stunning in a sleeveless
white dress while Olivia Palermo’s ensemble of black sheen top, cardigan and a
pair of leggings exude effortless elegance. On the other hand, Karlie Kloss too
stole the attention with her black sheen blouse with austere gold studs
detailing and metallic brocade pencil skirt by designer Prabal Gurung.
Not to forget the suave co-host who was dressed in smartly tailored suit with white-blue striped shirt and navy necktie. To complement his look for the evening, Lucas wore one of Montblanc iconic timepieces.
Throughout the evening, guests mingled while viewing Montblancʼs latest offerings. Some even took the opportunity to try the timepieces for themselves.

Ten percent of the retail sales of items

pieces and leather accessories will help UNICEF improve access to education,
including constructing schools in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
