Holiday! Let's Celebrate! ... Coach Holiday 2013 Media Preview

Beautiful, enticing and practical ― these are three words that I could use to describe Coach Holiday 2013 collection at its best.

At the media preview that is recently held at the Seventh Floor of Pavilion, rest assured any Coach aficionado – if they are lucky enough to be invited - could claim that they just died and their soul is taken to the Coach heaven. 

Racks of sumptuous bags and shoes; a table laden with irresistible accessories crafted from buttery soft leathers; and an eye-catching little rhinoceros stool (also crafted out from Coach renowned leather) are put on display to entice our senses.

In between delicious canapés and casual mingling, guests make their rounds from one corner of the room to another, examining and experiencing the beauty and the practicality of Coach Holiday 2013 collection with their senses. 

Be it men or women, iconic is what the collection screams. Each and every piece is imbued with the touch of Coach’s storied heritage such as the notable turn lock, gleaming polished hardware and a posh melange of supple and exotic-inspired hides.

While the Legacy collection boasts pieces that are inspired by the brand’s extensive archive, splashes of energetic hues such as Black Violet, Eggplant and Midnight inject a sporty vibe to the collection of daily style staples. 

Boasting distinctive crosshatch texture, Saffiano Collection offers a selection of easy, lightweight bags for a week of use. Key silhouettes include the Saffiano Leather Medium East-West City Tote, updated with bold colour-blocking.

As for Madison, fans of the collection will be thrilled by its fresh and feminine new look. Combining new decorative frame branding with iconic Coach branding, the new Madison boasts a new core of rich, pebbled Italian leather with plethora of lively colours such as Vermillion, Camel, Black, Marigold and Dark Plum. Also on display is the new addition to Coach family - The Borough handbags.

In the footwear section, fashion forward designs are married to Coach’s renowned fine leather craftsmanship and iconic features such as the legendary turn lock in polished gold and the Coach monograms at the back of the shoes. 

Materials such as printed fabrics, suede, bi-colour patents and python-embossed leathers, paired with smart colour blocking punctuate your fall/winter look. 

For those who are in the midst of planning their upcoming winter vacation, invest in classic outerwear pieces such as tweed bonnie cape and the jaguar cape, winter classic long trench, fox cowl in toffee and rabbit cashmere hat and tie. Setting off the iconic accessories are updated takes on Coach’s classic styles such as sleek, single-breasted Crosby Chesterfield Jacket in Wool/Angora blend with concealed button-front placket; Shearling Flight Jacket in Italian Curly Merino Shearling and classic Bleecker Leather Aviator in Italian leather, a quilted lining and a removable shearling collar.
